PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

projects

&#8226;Gather requirements and produce technical specifications
&#8226;Check Concurrency, Thread Safety, Memory Usage, CPU Utilization,

responsibilities.

&#8226;Quickly become proficient with new technologies

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education 
&#8226;Minimum requirement: Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science
or related fields and a strong academic record
Experience:
&#8226;Thorough knowledge of OOP (Classes, Interfaces, Composition,
Inheritance)
&#8226;Web Application Development 
&#8226;Expert knowledge of J2EE architecture, components, and security
&#8226;Excellent debugging, problem solving and testing skills
&#8226;Ability to produce fault tolerant, scalable, high performance
software
&#8226;Ability to investigate, document, and communicate technical
information
&#8226;Ability to solve complex problems and communicate issues
effectively
&#8226;Ability to write comprehensive design documentation

Technical Skills:
Programming: Java / J2EE / JBoss Seam / JSF 
Operating Systems: Windows  / Unix (Solaris, OpenSolaris) / Linux
Databases: Microsoft SQL Server (2008, 2005) / MySQL / Oracle / DB/2 
Application Servers: Apache Tomcat / JBoss / Websphere
Version Control: CVS / SVN / Mercurial

Productivity Skills:

Position Description

Technical Consultant Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities 

*	Programming in languages such as Java and .NET (C#, VB.net, ASP.net,
HTML, CSS) and other web development technologies
*	Exposure to XHTML, CSS skills Web graphic production and AJAX /
JavaScript (plus)
*	Experience in Mobile Application development (plus)
*	Provide status updates to clients and team members on a regular basis
*	Work with Technical Architects to provide insight on the functional
designs of web projects, specifying the application solution framework,
work estimation, and managing work effort on small projects
*	Provide mentoring to other Technical Consultants specific to
application development and best practices 
*	Solving business issues through the process of identifying and
analyzing detailed requirements to reflect client&#8217;s needs that
translate into system designs 

Requirements/Qualifications

*	Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (General,
Computer), MIS, or business related field
*	GPA of 3.2 or higher
*	0-3 years in a Technical Consultant role, preferably in a professional
services environment and/or university project based setting
*	Interest in technology and its application in a business environment
*	Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis tools such
as Microsoft Access
*	Experience with requirements definition methodologies and tools
(preferred)
