Hiring for:   Intern/Co-op
Description:
Infobright student internships provide valuable work experience to
enhance your academic pursuits.  As an intern, youâ??ll work on key
projects with technical members of the Infobright team and participate
in a wide variety of technical projects.  Each internship runs through
the school year and potentially in the summer.

The Application Developer position will focus on supporting the
community and developing sample applications using the Infobright
database.  These applications will be offered via the Infobright
Community (www.infobright.org).  This position is good for someone who
wants to be a software developer, a software architect, or some related
technical software role.

Along with a tech writer, marketer, and web dev intern, the app
developer will come up with a cool, new application to be built on top
of the Infobright database.  While Infobright will help with
collaboration, the team will decide what product/project to work on and
in what language.  This role is perfect for those with creative minds
and wide talent.

Requirements:
o	Internships are available for BS/MS/PhD students in computer science,
computer engineering, mathematics, and similar technical majors
o	Impressive academic achievement
o	Strong programming skills with languages including but not limited to
PHP, Java, C++
o	Database coursework and experience, including proficiency in the SQL
language and database design
o	Willing to work between 10-15 hours per week during the school year
o	Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for other than
practical training

Infobright\'s office at U of I is located within the research park just
Southwest of Assembly Hall.  The Yellow and Airbus MTD lines stop just
outside the building.

Description:

enhance your academic pursuits.  As an intern, youâ??ll work on key

The technical writer position will work with the Product Manager to
build out the documentation for the community edition of Infobright. 
This position is good for someone who wants to be a technical writer. 
This could also potentially lead to a full time position with
Infobright.
