Title: Lead Developer/Technical CoFounder
Company: TeamJunto
Contact: Kinelam Howard <Kinelam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> 7739872671
Hiring for: Full-time Intern/Co-op
Description:
Company overview

Team Junto is a stealth-mode start-up building an ambitious new consumer
web and mobile offering in the business networking space. Prominent and
tangentially related properties in this realm include Linkedin, Biznik,
EntrepreneurConnect, etc. Further information will be shared with
qualified candidates.

The companyâ??s Founder and CEO is a recent graduate from Columbia
holding a degree in Marketing Communications, along with extensive
knowledge in the start-up environment, business plans, financial
forecasts, market research, business presentation, building successful
business models, pitching and raising capital from VC/Angels etc.

The companyâ??s technical Advisor is a veteran consulting CTO in Silicon
Valley, and a computer science alumnus from Stanford University.

Position

We are seeking a Lead Developer, who will be responsible for heading up
our development efforts. This individual will:

â?¢	Define the product roadmap in collaboration with the CEO and
technical Advisor.

â?¢	Execute on this roadmap in an accurate, expeditious, and hands-on
fashion while establishing a scalable development methodology for future
growth.

â?¢	Oversee the architecture and operations of the website, and manage
the internal IT support function.

â?¢	Drive the recruiting of technical talent in building a best-in-class
engineering team.

â?¢	As the founding technologist at the company, manage all the
formative technology choices, including choice of languages, frameworks,
databases, and deployment.

â?¢	As a key initial member of the management team, make valuable
contributions to business discussions around the companyâ??s day-to-day
operations and long-term strategy.

Candidates should be a junior, senior, or recent graduate in computer
science, engineering, or a related discipline; strong, pragmatic, and
highly hands-on technical development skills; a keen intellect,
innovative problem solving skills, and a technology agnostic mentality
with the ability to consider and implement a broad array of solutions;
sensible and strong opinions about technology platforms, partners, and
implementation; an attuned aesthetic sensibility and an overriding
appreciation for exceptional user experience as the ultimate goal of all
design and development efforts; strong communication and people
leadership skills alongside a passion for creating fun, high-performance
company cultures; and a strong entrepreneurial nature rooted in prior
experience launching companies, services, and/or technologies.

Specifically, our ideal candidate will possess a proven background of
both web application development and production deployment, including
structuring robust database schemas and designing effective
administrative back-ends with varied roles and permissions. This
candidate will also demonstrate deep experience with modern web
frameworks and the ability to leverage them to build our dynamic,
feature-rich, algorithm-driven social recommendation platform.

Timing, location, and compensation

We are close to kicking off a seed capital fundraising round. The Lead
Developer will not be required to join full-time or even moonlight
during the fundraising process. Thus, while the Lead Developer will be
expected to fully commit to the venture, they will be able to maintain
their current employment, if they so choose, in the interim.

Interested candidates must be local or prepared to relocate, and must be
authorized to work in the United States.

As a full-time employee, the Lead Developer will receive compensation
commensurate with early stage emerging growth companies, including
meaningful equity participation and competitive cash compensation.

Next steps

Please email Kinelam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or call 773.987.2671, so that an
introductory meeting can be scheduled, after which significantly more
information about the venture will be revealed.
