Professor Popescu, Today at lunch you mentioned that you wanted to work with a
few undergraduate students over the summer in your lab. I’ve included the
leadership of ACM and the list for students interested in bioengineering topics
to this email. Although many of the students in ACM are either computer science
or ECE students, there are a few others, including mechanical and bioengineering
students. Sigbio, one of the ACM subgroups is focused particularly on
bioengineering topics and might have students interested in working on the live
cell imaging project you spoke of. If you were willing, I am certain the
students in Sigbio would love to have you speak at one of their meetings. Once again, thank you for joining us as lunch and for the
