Re: [SigBio] Upcoming Events of Interest: Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Symposium, etc

Hi, do you have to register for the computational biology symposium merely to go and listen to the talks?

Hello Everyone,
I just joined an independent study course on synthetic biology (if you are
interested in this by the way there is still room, email me and I can pass the
word on) and saw a whole bunch of posters in Loomis about some pretty sweet
events:

2nd Annual Midwest Symposium on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
http://www-app.igb.uiuc.edu/bioinformatics/
**This one has online registration due tomorrow and is on Oct 4

This has several events listed:
http://www.igb.uiuc.edu/calendar/seminars.html
The earliest is Sept 30

And here is the link to UIUC's Genomic Biology site:
http://www.igb.uiuc.edu/about/research.html
Check it out and see if any research/topics interest you. If it does we can read
papers, see if they are having lectures, or even try to visit their lab.

There were two more that I can't find at the moment. I will send the info in
another (shorter) email.
