Before you give thanks, get some CHI: 7PM.
We'll have some cool workshops after break...but first we really need
to figure out the music project and get the AIM group together, so
please show up to the meeting tonight. This is your chance to get
involved.
- We need to outline the framework of our music control project,
which will then be "paragraphized" into our glove proposal. With
this, we should have some P5 gloves by the time we get back from
break. :)
- Set a separate meeting time for work on the AIM project.
"Corporate" description below:
A group of students in SigCHI are working on an instant messaging
system. Beyond improving the graphical interface for the IM project,
we are also implementing fundamentals in Human-Computer Interaction:
smart and dynamic away messages through computer awareness,
notification through speech and ambient sounds/output devices, and a
multitude of features involving buddy prioritization. After we get
familiar with the code for the project, we'll get to the fun part and
work on a 3D interface layer similar to Palace.
See YOU tonight !!!
