[SigCHI] Re: Coding help needed / Hackathon Reminder

What kind of sounds are you working with? Are you looking to change the
pitch/amplitude of arbitrary sounds, or is this something specific?

Let me know if I can be of any help.

Hiya,
To clarify, we're actually looking to 1) have a unique specification for finger and motion movement to determine the note produced and 2) have a unique specification for finger/motion determine the pitch and volume of said note at time the "instruction" was made.

It's not a post-processor or anything, but a visual instrument and input interface on top of a backend set of intelligent algorithms that associate the input with instrumental sound.

Remember, the hackathon starts TOMORROW: Friday 5 PM - Sunday 6 PM at 1225 DCL. If you are locked out of DCL, call 333-5828 and we shall promptly rescue you from the sleet outside. See you then!
