Last week's discussion of the drawing teacher app led to storyboarding
for the interaction process and then investigation into Python and
Java's abilities to interact with Wacom tablets / Windows inking--Java
won. I'm not opposed to Visual Basic for this, either...I would think
it all to be hinged on what'll have the most/best API's for the input
coding.
No meetings this or next week (meeting next on Nov. 20th), I hope
everyone's enjoying the second round of exams like I am. Those active
on the project, please start looking at open source (sourceforge.net)
programs that are similar, so you can get a feel for how these types of
objectives are tackled in code.
Also I came across an interesting device and project that would have
enabled us to use Linux on a tablet--I certainly wish it were more
developed. See
