(((SIGMusic))) Electroacoustic Music

A special concert commemorating the 50th anniversary of the first public
concert of tape music will be presented on April 15, 2003, 8 PM at the
Cowell Playhouse Theatre of the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
The 1 hour 15 minute concert will feature live commentary, two of the
original works presented in 1953, and then six recent contemporary art
music electroacoustic works combined with live acoustic instrumental
performance - all within the contemporary classical/experimental music
realm.
