WinDevils will hold its first meeting of the year on Sunday, September 09, at 1:00 PM in 1330 DCL. Possible topics for the meeting include an introductory .NET presentation, or an introduction to using Visual Studio to write, compile and debug your CS MP's. We are currently investigating obtaining a copy of .NET Server to play with, along with some Visual Studio.NET Beta 2's. This semester we hope to present a series of workshops on a variety of topics, like Win32, .NET, DirectX, and more. We're also planning several events with Microsoft speakers.

SIGMobile is a special interest group in the mobility of systems, their users, and their applications. We focus on learning about mobile technologies and discovering novel applications of the technologies.
The chair this year is Keith Schacht and Co-Chair is Mike O'Connor. Past projects have included network enabling a Gameboy for head-to-head play and W.A.V.E. (wireless audio verification engine). We are still exploring possible projects for this year but we will consider doing something with Palm OS, Pocket PC, wireless messaging devices, and more!
We encourage everyone to come out and join. No previous knowledge of any technologies is required. Our first meeting will be Saturday at 2pm in 1225 DCL.
