We're looking forward to an interesting semester in SIGUnix, and we want to make sure that anyone with an interest in running or using a Unix-like operating system feels welcome within the group. There will be tutorials for the inexperienced and guru alike - as well as the accompanying traditional argument over the best way to do things. Any project ideas are always welcome (as are those willing to teach us things!), and anybody that feels inclined to learn and/or play with our budding Beowulf setup is encouraged to come to meetings. We'll have a good old time.

Yes, MacWarriors. The name might not be the best, but we're the largest Apple User Group at UIUC (as far as I know). Whatever your interest is, we can accommodate!

Plus, if you've heard about Mac OS X, and want know more (such as how it is built on top of FreeBSD and the Mach 3 kernel, has an open source low level architecture, and is fully buzzword compliant), feel free to drop in and try it out. It looks pretty
too. :)
