SIGBiz's Intern/Co-op Panel:

Summary
The Intern Co/op panel will be our first event of the year. We will have a panel of interns and co-ops from various industries (technical, finance, government, etc) talk about their work experience. Ask questions and learn what real world technologies are used in today's hottest companies.
Who's Invited
SIGBiz is open to anyone of any major who is interested in applying computer skills in the business world. Even if you aren't looking for an internship, come to our meeting to see what SIGBiz is all about.
What You'll Get
Besides getting the chance to meet like minded business and technology students, we'll be raffling off FREE Microsoft XP software. Plus, on occasion of our inaugural meeting, PIZZA and SODA will be served.

WinDevils will continue our series of C# and .Net presentations this weekend. Following our regular meeting, we will meet to discuss and begin initial planning for our EOH project. The WinDevils EOH project this year involves Smart Spaces and Home Automation, likely using power-line modems and intelligent electrical plugs and switches, etc. Other features could include a web gateway for remote control, and an easy-to-use GUI app in everyone's favorite OS, Windows.
WinDevils meets Sundays at 1 pm in 1310 DCL. Our EOH sub-group meets immediately after the full WinDevils meeting, usually around 2 pm, in the
same place.
Once we complete our .Net talks, Chris Mitchell will be holding a .Net programming workshop in the labs, and then we'll move on to some DirectX workshops.
