
David P. Anderson
Project Director, SETI@home, University of California at Berkeley
Dr. David P. Anderson received a PhD in Computer Science from
the University of Wisconsin in 1985 and was on the faculty of the Computer Science department
at U.C. Berkeley from 1985 to 1992.
His research interests include operating systems, distributed computing, real-time systems,
collaborative filtering, computer-aided teaching, and computer music.
He was Chief Technology Officer of Tunes.com and United Devices.
He is currently a Research Scientist at the U.C. Berkeley
Space Sciences Laboratory, where he directs the SETI@home and BOINC projects.
