SIGBio Meeting

  • Coded more, have all the major classes fleshed out. We need to flesh out all the methods and everything. I'm adding the specific tasks to the timeline.
  • Now that we have the abstraction taken care of we need ideas of where to go with the actual things we are going to simulate. I think the best idea is to try to simulate some actual biological systems, but anything will work. So what I want people to do is to go to SimulationIdeas and post some interesting things we should implement, as well as try to write out some pseudocode for the rules of the various Elements we will implement (nothing too strict, just a general description of how each cell responds to the environment.)
  • Next week we should finish up the basic stuff and after we make sure stuff like collision detection works and all, we can start writing rules.

Remember, EOH is towards the beginning of March so we only have a few weeks left!
