Audio Driver

The Audio Driver will allow you to generate analogue signals through the computer's audio out line. In LaserLine 1.0 this was how we controlled the Do-it-yourself scanner. This was a nice cheap (albeit limited) alternative to full ILDA compatible output devices such as the EasyLase, that we would like to preserve in our new version.

The Basics

This driver will take care of converting a set of points from the current frame into audio signals for output on a scanner plugged into a computer's speaker. To do this we'll be using the low level functions in Core Audio.
