File Imports

In order for LaserLine to be at all useful, it must be possible to import laser shows into the program. At this time there are 3 formats that are planned to be supported by the first release. Those are ILDA, Flash, and LZR:

• ILDA: ILDA (.ild) files are an industry standard set forth by the International Laser Display Association. Nearly all laser shows are distributed using this file format.
• Flash: Flash (.swf) file, while not used as a means to distribute laser shows, are a format in which many animations which would be interesting to see lased are distributed.
• LaserLine: The LaserLine (.lzr) file format is the format used natively by LaserLine. LZR is an XML file which provides support for archiving all the important data that are a part of a LaserLine document.
