Hardware

The hardware for this project will be constructed completely from scratch. This is partly due to financial constraints, and because it is a very interesting project to build this kind of stuff.

LaserLine is designed to be compatible with industry-standard hardware, and should be able to drive any laser-projector on the market with the appropriate interface. Additionally, because the driver-interface is modular, support for additional DAC hardware can be added easily. Please send us your results!

For most users, it is recommended that users purchase a set of galvos and an EasyLase USB DAC, though the adventurous may choose to use the audio-card output and build a set of galvos. The internet is your best resource if you choose this path.
