• Milestone: Website

  3 years late (12/20/05)

  Create a website with detailed information about the Ring Cycle project to help get members of the Linux community interested in the project. When this milestone is completed, the website should be functional, and have substantial correct content.

• Milestone: Performance Benchmarks

  2 years late (01/16/06)

  Run both micro-benchmarks on the use of x86 specific features (such as call gates), and macro-benchmarks on the entire kernel in multiple scenarios to gauge the performance hit from the additional kernel features. Add a website page with these statistics.

• Milestone: Broadcom Tigon3 Driver Support

  2 years late (03/01/06)

  Get the tg3 gigabit ethernet driver to work with the ringcycle kernel. This will involve PCI, DMA, and several other hurdles.

• Milestone: Thesis

  2 years late (05/01/06)

  Write thesis about Ring Cycle project and post on website.
