Current Status

Look here for current project updates...

  • 3/31/2011 - Congratulations on the demo at EOH (First Place in the theme category: Defining the Future). :D
  • 1/23/2011 - Mapping out the last month and a half before EOH (3/11-3/12) in terms of what steps we have left. See Here
  • 12/5/2010 - Communication between TUIO Server and MATLAB complete; Decided on output in a similar fashion to input (using OSC); Developed a method of segmenting incoming gesture information; Decided on running generated segmentation and information through an HMM for classification.
  • 10/3/2010 - Split up work between interfacing between Tacchi Table (TUIO) and MATLAB and further gesture syllable analysis.
  • 9/26/2010 - Decide on which syllables to use (point, line, arc) and detection of these using MATLAB.
  • 9/19/2010 - Work on analysis of a gesture 'syllable' using some basic metrics (e.g. length, velocity, curvature) using MATLAB.
