2008-09 Projects
To get more people involved, this year we're focusing on smaller, less time-consuming projects.
If you have any ideas of something you'd like to work on, post them here. (And feel free to get started on the project!)
- campus-wide class rating system (difficulty, hours spent on homework, usefulness of textbook, etc.)
- bookworm - a website to manage the ACM's book library
- crescendo - a tunez replacement web application
- pathways - Dave Mussulman has expressed interest in seeing pathways updated. Here's the email he sent us (and my response).
- doctor - a way to harvest documentation from various languages and store in a database instead of generating html or some other format. this way, anyone can write a frontend for any display they prefer
- zombie assassins-like game (iPhone app)
- interacting with email through sms/text messages
- tag-based filesystem/os
- classroom/assignment/grades/compass replacement
- location-aware iphone application (different sounds, notifications, etc.)
- laptop-task awareness for music and things
- iphone localized calendar (google calendar problem)
- phone app for campus bus system - how can i get home from here, right now? - added to the pathways project
