Maps still under debate - Inkscape vectoring of aerial images are a possible solution

Lots of javascripting ahead Javascript tiled maps are a real pain to code, might be easier in java, but jsp is a real pain to do so Size of Maps is an issue at present. Level of detail has to be greatly compromised in order to fit it in the page itself, possibly need to scroll down or figure out a way to strike a balance between map size & detail, and users initial view and ease of use.
