About Us

SigArch focuses on computer architectures. Since our members all have varying experience levels, this includes everything from simple logic gates to full computer systems. Our goal is to give members experience in using and designing digital circuits using the concepts learned in classes, and then expanding that far beyond what is covered in the general architecture courses.

SigArch makes extensive use of the ACM Lab. This lab is equipped with oscilloscopes, a logic analyzer, thousands of electronic components, and workstations. Here we develop projects exploring various computer architecture-related projects.

Probably the best way to find out about SigArch is to attend a meeting. We meet on Thursday nights at 7pm in 1110 Siebel Center when school is in session. Meeting reminders are sent out on the mailing list, which you can find instructions for joining on our "Contact Us" page.
