Whether you're a hardware hacker, an ECE/CS student who's wondering if your
major can possibly be fun, or just savor the taste of Pez, come check out the
CamBot project!

CamBot (currently named after a rather passive Mystery Science Theater 3000 
character), is a project to rebuild a commercial video camera to output  
digitized, compressed video through a standard Ethernet port.

No matter how little or how much experience you have, if you're at all 
interested in the CamBot project, mail netcam-request@acm.uiuc.edu with the 
text: "subscribe your_email_address" and you will be added to the group.
