Quick index:
The whole thing:
Generally useful CS/EE resources
University groups involved in reconfigurable computing
Companies involved in reconfigurable computing
- X Engineering Software
Systems offers some products relating to what they call elastic computing.
- Metalithic
Systems, Inc. seems to have a hot new RC product: Digital Wings
for Audio. Although their Web site still needs some work, they do
have a page of contact
information.
- Xilinx (the fathers
of FPGA technology) have a page about their Reconfigurable
Computing Developers Program.
- Xilinx has the new superbad
6200-series FPGAs that are ideal for RC.
- Virtual Computer has
been around for a while developing RC products.
- Altera (the
other FPGA company) has a small RC research
program.
- Chromatic Research
has taken a different, DSP approach to reconfigurable computing, with
MPACT!.
- Annapolis Micro Systems is aparently developing Wildfire,
a family of Xilinx FPGA based
reconfigurable computing engines. Although they don't seem to have a
Web page, there is a page
of information about them, and you should be able to contact them:
