Links

Below is a semi-organized list of links we think might be helpful if you're looking for computer architecture information or building an electronics project.

Electronics Distributors:

DigiKey: Our primary distributor. Fully searchable online catalog with links to datasheets.
Mouser: Distributor with full semiconductor cross-indexed searching. Great for diodes, transistors.
Newark: Large distributor with giant blue catalog. Carries most major parts that Digikey doesn't.
Jameco: A bit expensive, but nice color catalog. They sell lots of not-quite-horrible kits.

General Information:

Databookshelf: A giant listing of links to semiconductor datasheets.
ECE 311: Microcomputer Laboratory Class. Online lectures talk about interfacing computers with peripherals via FPGAs.
ECE 312: Computer Organization and Design. Create your own microprocessor in VHDL.
Opencores.org: A site dedicated to creating free microprocessor cores.
ucLinux.org: A version of the Linux operating system designed for microcontrollers.
Ars Technica Blackpapers: A collection of papers about computer architecture suitable for non-electrical/computer engineers.
