Welcome to SIGMicro!

SIGMicro has dissolved as a functional unit. Please visit the newly independent MacWarriors and SIGWin sites for more current information about each.

SigMicro, the Special Interest Group for Microcomputing, is the center for information on PC programming and use. We are comprised of 2 sub-groups: the WinDevils, our sub-group devoted to Windows programming, and the MacWarriors Group for Macintosh/MacOS users and programmers.

What do we do? Take a look at our list of recent projects we've undertaken.

How do I join? That's easy! Simply show up to one of the sub-group meetings and say you're interested. If you get really involved, we'll ask you to pay your ACM dues, but other than that all you need to be a member is interest.

Why should I join? Because we asked you to. No, seriously, if you're interested in PCs or for programming for Windows or MacOS, SigMicro is the place to be. We have a lot of cool resources available only to SigMicro members, and those benefits are increasing all the time.

Who do I talk to for more information? For general SigMicro information, mail sigmicro@uiuc.edu.
