Welcome to MacWarriors
MacWarriors is both the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus
Macintosh Users Group and a special interest group of the UIUC Association
for Computing Machinery. We are a community that Apple enthusiasts
of all levels can enjoy. In addition to our weekly meetings, we offer tutorials, workshops, and an active
mailing list where members can ask questions,
get help, and discuss the latest announcements from Apple. Our current chair is
Kevin Cathey.
If you are a first time Mac or iPod user, or if you have been using a Mac forever, this is the place for you. MacWarriors meets every Wednesday during the school year at 7pm in 1104 Siebel Center. You should also subscribe to our mailing list.
Announcements
Our first meeting of the year will be on Saturday, August 30th, at 2 PM. This is just for this week. Regular meetings will still be on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM, starting September 10th (see next announcement on why there is no meeting tomorrow).
On September 3rd at 7 PM, MacWarriors will be hosting "Your Mac on Campus", a session designed to help people get their Macs up and running with campus services. This will take place in Room 1009 in Siebel Center.
