Jack around with it immediately: You will need Cosmo Player to have it work correctly. |

View VRML Worlds The latest version of Netscape comes with the a VRML browser, but Internet Explorer does not. Netscape has problems. My pick is Cosmo Player[2.45Mb] from SGI. I like SGI, and you should too. Further more use Internet Explorer 3.0[9.6Mb] is highly advantagous: despite claims by either side, IE has less bugs AND generally does things better. |

Make VRML2.0 Worlds VRML is like HTML in that the format is text based. You can create VRML text with a text editor or create it with a graphic editor that makes the text for you or a little of both. If you just want to play around, use the graphic editor. If you want to do something really complex, you are going to have to know how to write VRML code (ie. text editing). |

Virtual Home Space Builder[0.88Mb]: This is as simple as it gets, but you cannot do much with because it is a demo, and it does not do much in its non-demo either. |

Internet Space Builder[2.17Mb]: This is an editor that can do most of what you want to do. It is not the best IU, but it will make a good VRML world. It comes with a tutorial Word document that tells all. |

External Interface for extending a VRML browser. We are doing this in SigVR. It involves writing Java applets (ie. not for the light hearted). |

Netscape Javascript: You need to know this to use the external interface. There is no support for Internet Explorer yet. |

3D Studio Max VRML Plug-In[2Mb]: You probably do not have 3D Studio Max unless you are in SigVR or have a LOT of money or something illegal. Even so, it is a complicated graphics development platform that is not for everyone. |
