UBD is the student-run business development and entrepreneurial group at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. We serve several groups of people, including startups, technical students, and student entrepreneurs.

Through strategic partnerships and selective membership, we have access to the largest talent pool on campus, including computer science, engineering, design, and business students.

For businesses
We provide business development services to startups (companies considered to be younger than 2 years). We specialize in web development, creative design, marketing and promotion.

For technical students
UBD fulfills the practical experience for students by engaging them into technical roles that employees love to see on a resume and portfolio.

For student entrepreneurs
UBD is one of the first organizations to introduce a concept called a "workout partner" program. In the same way that going to the gym with a partner will motivate you, we are teaming entrepreneurs up in order to hold each other accountable for business goals. In addition, we can assist in helping student entrepreneurs locate talent, capital, and equipment.
