The Webhippos? Webunicorns?

WebMONKEYS. Webmonkeys is a Special Interest Group (SIG) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We are affiliated with our local chapter of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). We are, for the most part, like-minded students brought together by our common interest in all things related to web design and/or programming.

So...what do you do?

We use internet technologies such as (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, Perl, Javascript, and many other web languages to create engaging, visually appealing websites. We also teach these languages to anyone who is interested in learning.

Sweet...so when do you meet?

Generally, our meetings are on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM until about 8-8:30 PM, in room 3401 Siebel Center. We're also holding extra dev session meetings on Mondays at 6:00 PM in room 0220 Siebel Center.
